Ingredients
1/2 to 2 tbsp condensed milk
1/2 cup thick curds (dahi)
2 tbsp thick coconut milk (optional)
2 tsp coconut essence
1/3 cup chopped pineapple

For The Pineapple Jam
1 cup chopped pineapple
sugar to taste (approximately 1/2 cup)

  1. Combine milkmaid, curds, coconut milk, coconut essence and 1/3 cup chopped pineapple in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and cover it using an aluminium foil.
  3. Steam in a steamer for 20 minutes on a medium flame.

  1. Combine the chopped pineapple and sugar with 1/4 cup water and cook in a non-stick pan till pineapple is well cooked and the consistency is as thick as jam.

  1. Spread the pineapple jam on top of the cooked pudding and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Serve chilled.
