Ingredients

Method
  1. Combine the cornflour and 1 tbsp water in a small bowl, mix well and keep aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a deep non-stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the tomatoes, corn, fusilli, tomato purée and oregano, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  5. Add 3 cups of hot water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the prepared cornflour-water mixture, salt, pepper and basil, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot garnished with cheese.
