To E Mixed Together For The Balls
2 cups paneer (cottage cheese)
4 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
a pinch of salt
a bit orange rind
3 tbsp plain flour (maida)
4 tbsp semolina (rava)
2 eggs

For The Crumbled Topping
1/2 cup butter
1 3/4 cups fresh bread crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup powdered nuts
a pinch cinnamon (dalchini) powder
orange zest

  1. Boil enough water in a deep pan, add the balls and cook till the balls starts floating on top.
  2. Drain and keep aside.

  1. Heat the butter in anon-stick pan, add the bread crumbs, sugar and nuts and mix well and saute till they are cooked.

  1. Roll the cooked dumplings on the crumble to cover them from all the sides.
  2. Serve immediately.
