Fruit and Vegetable Raita recipe - How to make Fruit and Vegetable Raita

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 6 servings

Ingredients

1 cup fresh low fat curds (dahi) , whisked
1 tbsp fresh cream
1 tbsp low fat milk (99.9% fat-free , readily available in the market)
1 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
2 tsp sugar
salt to taste
1/2 cup grapes , halved
1 cup chopped apples
1/2 cup chopped bananas
1/2 cup chopped cucumber

Method
    Method
  1. Combine the curds, cream, milk, mustard powder, cumin seeds powder, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate to chill.
  2. Add the grapes, apples, banana and cucumber and toss well.
  3. Serve chilled.
