Cook on a slow flame till both sides are golden brown, drizzling ¼ tsp oil. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to make 5 more chana dal pancakes. Serve chana dal pancakes hot with green chutney.

1/2 cup chana dal (split bengal gram) , soaked for 4 to 5 hours and drained
1/2 cup finely chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup finely chopped spinach (palak)
4 to 6 curry leaves (kadi patta) , roughly chopped
1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
2 tbsp curd (dahi)
salt to taste
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp fruit salt
3 tsp peanut oil for greasing and cooking
