A simple easy to make chutney made with mint and coriander leaves. The uses of this chutney are versatile from spread in sandwiches and wraps to an accompaniment with tikkis.

Makes 1 cup
1 cup chopped mint leaves (phudina)
1 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tbsp roasted chana dal (daria)
3 green chillies , chopped
2 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
Method
- Main procedure
- Grind all the ingredients to a smooth paste in a blender.
- Store refrigerated and use as required.
- Green chutney can be stored in the refrigerator for upto 4 days and in the freezer for upto 15 days.
