- Soak soya beans fro two hours and grind with buttermilk to a coarse paste.
- Make paste of ginger and the chillies.
- Mix paste and all other ingredients except the eno salt with the soya paste.
- Keep steaming vessel ready. add the eno salt to mixture and pour into greased idli trays. stean for 15 to 20 minutes
- Serve hot with chutney
