  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl, mix well and knead into a semi-soft dough using enough water.
  2. Divide the dough into 5 equal portions.
  3. Roll out a portion into a circle of 125 mm. (5") diameter using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
  4. Heat a tava (griddle) and cook the roti using ¼ tsp of oil, or till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to make 4 more rotis.
  6. Serve immediately.

Too good!! Looks like our regular roti but the taste for grated red pumpkin with spinach and just the basic masalas makes this roti stand out different from the other rotis we make at home daily. Its a little thickly rolled so quite filling also. 2 rotis with a bowl of curds are enough to square up a meal.
