This delicious recipe is also called mitthi dabrotri where mitthi means sweet and dabrotari means bread. This is a mouth watering sindhi recipe which is often during cold wintry mornings.

Ingredients
6 bread slices
3 cups low-fat milk
1/2 cup sugar
a few saffron (kesar) strands dissolved in 1 tbsp warm milk
150 gms grated paneer (cottage cheese)
4 to 5 almonds (badam) , sliced
2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
3 tbsp ghee
2 edible silver leaf (vark)
Method
    Method
  1. Remove the sides of bread and cut each slice into 4 triangles.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a non stick pan, add 4 pieces and cook on low heat till golden brown and crisp.
  3. Repeat with remaining pieces to make more such slices.
  4. Dip 2-3 slices in the cold milk and remove immediately on a serving platter.
  5. Heat the remaining milk with sugar and cardamom powder and bring to boil.
  6. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or till it becomes thick.
  7. Add the panner, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes or till it looks like radri.
  8. Cool the rabdi and pour over the bread and garnish with silver leaf.
  9. Sprinkle almonds and pista and coat with the soaked kesar.
  10. Serve warm or chilled.
