Muli Paratha recipe - How to make Muli Paratha

2 medium sized radish (mooli) , peeled and grated
1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tsp oil
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
salt to taste
oil for cooking
whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling

For Serving
1 cup curds (dahi)

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl, mix well and knead into a soft dough using water.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions.
  3. Roll out each portion into a thick medium sized rotis using little whole wheat flour for rolling.
  4. Cook each roti on a hot tava on both the sides using little oil.
  5. Cook until brown spots appears on both the sides.
  6. Serve hot with curds.
