Ingredients


For Quinoa Oats Pancakes
1/2 cup quinoa flour
1/2 cup oats flour
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup finely chopped spinach (palak)
1/4 cup grated potatoes
1/4 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
1 tsp oil for greasing

Method

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}quinoa oats pancakes{/span} batter, combine quinoa flour, oats flour, carrots, spinach, potatoes, green chillies and salt along with 1 1/4th cup of water in a deep bowl and mix well.
  2. Heat a non-stick mini uttapam pan and grease with ¼ tsp of oil. Pour 1 tbsp of the batter into each uttapa mould, spread it evenly.
  3. Cook on a medium flame for 50 seconds, brush with oil, flip and cook the other side the same way.
  4. Cook till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  5. Repeat to make 1 more batch of {span class="bold1"}quinoa oats vegetable pancakes for irritable bowel syndrome{/span}.

  1. In a deep bowl put 1/2 cup quinoa flour.
  2. Add 1/2 cup oats flour.

  6. You can add 1/4 tsp finely chopped green chillies to the batter depending on how much spice you can handle. If you don't have IBS, then just add the finely chopped green chillies. 
  7. Add salt to taste. We added 1/2 tsp salt. 
  8. Add  1 1/4th cup of water to make a batter.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Use your batter quickly as oats tend to soak up the water.
