Punjabi Paneer Recipes

Paneer or cottage cheese is a fresh cheese made by coagulating milk and separating the whey. It is used widely in Indian, oriental, continental and other cuisines because of its soft mouth-feel and versatility.


Although all dairy products are used abundantly used in Punjabi cuisine, the people of that State hold paneer very close to their heart! It is cooked in every way possible – it is marinated, fried, sautéed, crumbled, and so on, to make delicious dishes that span every course of the meal, from the starters to the main course and later the desserts too!
