Ingredients

1 spring onion , sliced
1/4 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 red capsicum , cut into thin strips
2 red chillies
2 cloves of garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp lemon juice
a pinch of sugar
2 tbsp butter
salt to taste

Method
    Method
  1. Put 2 cups of water to boil.
  2. Soak the red chillies in 1/2 cup of hot water for some time. Then pound them with the garlic into a smooth paste. Keep aside.
  3. Heat the butter in a saucepan, add the chilli and garlic paste and stir for some time.
  4. Then add the spring onion, cabbage and red capsicum and saute for a few seconds.
  5. Add the remaining 1 1/2 cups of hot water, the lemon juice, sugar and salt and bring to a boil.
  6. Serve hot.
