Ingredients


For The Spinach Dip
2 tsp oil
4 tbsp chopped onions
1 tsp chopped green chillies
2 cups roughly chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup low fat milk
salt and to taste

Other Ingredients
whole wheat crackers or lavash

Method
For the spinach dip

    For the spinach dip
  1. To make {span class="bold1"}spinach dip{/span}, heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and green chillies and sauté on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
  2. Add the spinach and paneer and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add the milk and cook on a medium flame for another 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Add the salt and pepper, mix well, remove in a plate and keep aside to cool.
  5. Transfer it into a mixer jar and blend into a smooth paste.
  6. Serve the {span class="bold1"}spinach dip{/span} hot with crackers.
