  1. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Add bay leaf & gota garam masala.
  3. Stir for 1 minute.
  4. Add onions fry till pink add the paste fry for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle water if required.
  6. Add the tomatoes ,fry on high till oil comes up.add the veg.except peas.
  7. Fry for anothet 1 minute,now add the soaked rice mix well .
  8. Now add the milk & water mixture. let it cool.
