1 small can (450 grams) pineapple tidbits or scooped out portion of one pineapple
2 apples, cubed
2 bananas, cubed
1 cucumber, cubed
2 big tomatoes, cut into quarters (remove the pulp and seeds)
2 capsicums
2 oranges, segmented

For the dressing
Mango Dressing or Thousand Island Dressing

For the decoration
pineapple (ananas) slices
lettuce leaves

For serving the dressing
1 scooped out pineappleshell

  1. Mix all the salad ingredients and put in the refrigerator.
  2. Just before serving, drain and place in the centre on a large platter.
  3. Surround with pineapple slices and decorate with cherries and lettuce leaves.
  4. Pour the dressing into the pineapple shell and serve cold wth the salad.
