2 tsp oil
salt to taste

  1. To make boiled hakka noodles, boil plenty of water in a deep non-stick pan , add the oil and salt.
  2. Once the water has been boiled, add the noodles, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes or till they are cooked, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from the fire and drain out all the water.
  4. Pour some cold water on the noodles to arrest further cooking.
  5. Let all the water drain out and ensure that the noodles do not contain any moisture. This will prevent the noodles from sticking together. Use the boiled hakka noodles as required.

Hello mam how are you i want to ask when i boil the noodles there is always some kind of smell in it which makes the taste some bad i dont use salt in boiling what i must do to avoid that smell in noodles

   Hi, always check the freshness of noodles by checking the packaging date. Noodles do have a peculiar smell so do not be alarmed. Also, add salt when boiling the noodles, this shall give the noodles a better taste when cooked.

One query, pls help. How long do boiled noodles stay OK? Can I boil in morning for use at night?

   Hi, Yes you can boil the noodles and keep in the morning, cool them completely, apply oil and toss them , cover them with a lid and keep in the fridge till evening...

My noodles use to always be sticky.. Thanks for the solution.. Now adding little oil to it, doesn't make it sticky anymore..
