Dried apricot is fruit that has been dried, either naturally or through use of a machine, such as a dehydrator. Dried apricots are pitted that have had a large percentage of the moisture removed. They're usually treated with sulfur dioxide to preserve their color.

Chopped dried apricots
Cut the apricot into half with a sharp knife. Remove the seeds and place a halve on a chopping board. Chop the dried apricots lengthwise at regular intervals with a sharp knife. Line all the long pieces together and chop horizontally to get chopped dried apricots. Oil the blade of the knife to chop easily. 
Deseeded dried apricots
Cut the apricot into half with a sharp knife. Remove the seeds and use them accordingly.
Dried apricot puree
Take 1 cup dried apricots, as per recipe requirement and soak the dried apricots in luke warm water for 20 to 25 minutes or till soft. Put the apricots in a blender and blend till smooth using approx. 1 to 2 tbsp of water to get a smooth puree. This will yield approx. 3/4 cup of puree.
Sliced dried apricots
Cut the apricot into half with a sharp knife. Remove the seeds. Place a dried apricot on a chopping board and slice it thinly or thickly as required using a sharp knife.
Soaked dried apricots
Soak the apricots in warm water for 15 mins. Drain them as they become soft. Dry the same in shelter. Can be used to make sauces, dessert, puree etc.
