Ingredients


To Be Mixed Into A Mixture
2 cups crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 tbsp besan (bengal gram flour)
1 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste

Other Ingredients For Paneer Cheese Balls
20 small processed cheese cubes
oil for deep-frying

For Serving With Paneer Cheese Balls

Method

For paneer cheese balls

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}paneer cheese balls{/span}, divide the mixture into 20 equal portions.
  2. Shape each portion of the mxture into a flat round and put a small cube of cheese in the center.
  3. Bring all the sides together, seal them completely and roll them again lightly.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and deep-fry, a few {span class="bold1"}paneer cheese balls{/span} at a time, on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour and crispy from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  5. Serve the {span class="bold1"}paneer cheese balls{/span} immediately with chilli sauce.
