Pesto Sauce is an ideal addition to any noodle or pasta recipe, as it imparts a nice herby flavour and irresistibly luscious texture to it, thanks to the abundant use of basil and walnuts.

Onions, ginger and garlic add spicy shades to the herby notes, making the sauce a complete treat for your taste buds. Here, we have combined perfectly cooked Flat Noodles with Pesto Sauce, along with some cream and of course, cheese too, to make a delectable Main Course .

Pesto Flat Noodles Recipe, Flat Noodles with Pesto Sauce recipe - How to make Pesto Flat Noodles Recipe, Flat Noodles with Pesto Sauce

To Be Ground Into A Smooth Paste
1 1/2 cups basil leaves
1/4 cup roughly chopped walnuts (akhrot)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/4 cup roughly chopped onions
1 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tbsp roughly chopped green chillies
1/4 cup milk
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
2 cups boiled flat noodles
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup fresh cream
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
salt to taste

Method

Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the prepared paste, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
Add the noodles, cream, cheese and salt, toss gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Serve immediately.

These flat noodles is just the best one with pesto sauce, which my favourite.. The nutty flavour of the walnut is just too good.. and very easy and quick..
