Baked Kesari Moong Dal Gujiya
Baked Kesari Moong Dal Gujiya, moong dal, mava, nuts, coconut and hints of nutmeg and cardamom go into the stuffing of this traditional favourite sweet. Unlike the traditional gujiyas that are deep fried, these are baked with a brushing of saffron-milk which gives it a nice aroma and flavour.
Kosambari
Kosambari is a festive South Indian salad made with a combination of pulses like moong dal, cucumber, tomatoes, coconut, etc. I have added flax seeds to make it healthier. With a seasoning of mustard seeds, ginger and chillies , this piquant dish is sure to refresh you with its zesty flavour!
