Apple dumplings is a simple recipe prepared with sliced apples, cinnamon powder ,sugar syrups and pastry sheets. An excellent fruit flavoured dessert item, the apple dumplings bring a tasty end to any lavish meal.

1 peeled medium sized apple, cubed
2 tbsp grated coconut
3 tbsp sugar
a pinch of salt
1 cup plain flour (maida)
2 drops vanilla essence
3/4 cup water
1 tsp caraway seeds (shahjeera)
oil for frying
Method
- Mix together flour, salt & sugar with water without formation of lumps
- Add diced apple, grated coconut, vanilla essence & shah jeera into a batter.
- Heat oil in a pan & with the help of a teaspoon add the flour into the hot oil & allow them to brown
- Remove from oil & place them on a tissue paper.
