Apricot-glazed pineapple sundae presents an amazing array of fresh pineapple slices tossed with apricots, low fat yoghurt, sugar and a dash of spices such as cinnamon. A lovely dessert recipe to be relished with caramel sauce as topping.

4 1" thick pineapple slices
2 tbsp apricot preserves
sugar syrup
a pinch of cinnamon (dalchini) powder
1 cup vanilla low-fat frozen yogurt
Method
- Preheat broiler.
- Place pineapple slices on a broiler pan.
- Brush pineapple with preserves;
- Broil 6 minutes or until bubbly.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over pineapple.
- Serve warm with the frozen yogurt
