A delicious combination of arrowroot, nuts. This is a different sweet or a faraali dish.

Makes 1 serving
1 cup arrowroot (paniphal) flour flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup figs (anjeer) puree
1 tsp saffron (kesar) strands strands
1 tbsp chopped dates (khajur)
2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1/2 cup mixed chopped nuts
3 tsp ghee
For The Garnish
poppy seeds
rose petals
Method
- Method
- Combine the arrowroot flour, 2 cups water, sugar, figs pulp, dates in a deep pan and cook on a slow flame till the mixture becomes thick.
- Add the ghee, saffron, cardamom powder, nuts and mix well.
- Grease plate, pour mixture.
- Cut into desired shapes.
- Garnish with khuskhus and rose petals.
