Pachadi is the south Indian raita. Goes well with spicy sambar rice.

Makes 2 serving
1 green capsicum , diced
1 cup curds (dahi)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1 tsp vegetable oil
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
salt to taste
Method
- Method
- Heat Oil in a deep pan,add the mustard seeds.
- When the seeds splutter, add asafoetida and capsicum.
- Cook on a medium flame till it appears little charred.
- Remove from the flame and allow it to cool.
- In a deep bowl, add curds, capsicum mixture and salt and mix well.
- Serve hot with rice.
