A scrumptious cake made with carrots and pineapple and baked to perfection.
Carrot & Pineapple Cake recipe - How to make Carrot & Pineapple Cake
Preparation Time: 15MIN Cooking Time: 30-40MIN Total Time:
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup grated carrots
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp cinnamon (dalchini)
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup light oil
1/2 tin crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 c.
- Put everything except the walnuts into a bowl and beat for 2 minutes on medium speed.
- Add walnuts and pour into a greased or lined cake tin and bake for 30-40mins until cake tests cooked with a skewer.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool before icing with cream cheese icing.
