Corn fritters is an unique fritter recipe which is fried to crispy perfection and served with green chutney or chilli sauce. The boiled and mashed corn is coated with corn flour batter and spices and rolled in breadcrumbs before deep frying. An excellent snack item or starter dish for every occasion.

Makes 4 servings
4 fresh corn cobs
1 egg
1 to 2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
a pinch of chilli powder
salt to taste
2 chopped green chillies

- Method
- Deseed the corn into a bowl.
- To it add the egg,maida,coriander,salt pepper,redchillipowder,ginger garlic paste,green chilles.
- Mix all the ing well.
- Heat a pan,add some oil.
- Take the mixture with the help of a sppon and transfer in to the pan and shallow fry them till they are golden brown on both sides.
- Garnish with coriander and serve them with sauce.
