Date and Walnut Cake recipe - How to make Date and Walnut Cake

2 1/4 cups plain flour (maida)
3/4 cup butter
1 cup chopped seedless dates (khajur)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup curds (dahi)
1 3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method
- Put the dates in the mixer with a little milk.
- Add the remainig wet ing. that is curds milk,butter
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and add the wet mixture stirring slowly in one direction
- Add the essence
- Put the cake mixture in a preheated oven and make for 20 minutes
- Cool and remove
