  2. In a deep bowl, add hot water, jaggery powder, melted butter, dates milk mixture and vanilla extract. Whisk well.
  3. Sieve wheat flour, plain flour, baking powder and baking soda. Whisk well till lump free.
  4. Add the chopped walnuts and fold in gently using a spatula.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf tin and top it up with dates and jaggery.
  6. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180° c for 30 minutes or until it’s perfectly baked.
  7. Remove and allow it to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into slices.
