This kheer is rich in calcium and carbohydrates. It has potato, milk, cashew and paneer.
Faraali Snow Kheer recipe - How to make Faraali Snow Kheer

Makes 4 servings
1 cup grated potatoes
1/2 cup mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tbsp roasted and powdered cashewnuts (kaju)
4 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp poppy seeds (khus-khus) , soaked and grounded into paste
2 tsp ghee
For The Garnish
roasted chopped almonds (badam)
pistachio slivers
chopped dates (khajur)
Method
- Method
- Heat the ghee in a pan, add the potatoes and saute for 5 ,minutes.
- ADd the milk, mix well and bring to boil till the milk is reduced to half.
- Add the paneer, sugar, cashew powder, khuskhus, mix well and boil for another 10 minutes or till it becomes thick.
- Garnish with almond, pista and dates.
- Serve hot or chilled.
