Fruit Brochettes offer a popular dessert recipe with marinated fruits put on skewers and then grilled in oven. Enjoy these low cal and healthy fruit based dessert option with a hint of rum.

Ingredients


200 gms papaya
200 gms watermelon
1 mango (seasonal)
1 orange
8 strawberries
12 grapes
12 black grapes
100 ml honey
5 ml lemon juice
10 gms sugar
2 mint sprigs
10 gms icing sugar

Method

  1. Clean cut the fruits, except grapes into even shaped dices.
  2. Put all the fruit dices along with grapes in a bowl.
  3. Pour honey lemon juice and grain sugar on top.
  4. Keep refrigerated for about 1 hour.
  5. Remove and skewer on toothpick in a symmertrical fashion.
  6. Chill the brochettes for about 30 mins before serving.
  7. To serve remove brochettes from the bowl and place on a plate.
  8. Drizzle the remaning marinade over garnish with mint leaves and dust with icing sugar.
