Ingredients
Method

  1. Fry the green gram and rice separately in a kadai (do not add oil).
  2. It should not become reddish brown
  3. Wash it in water and strain. keep aside
  4. Take the pressure pan , add oil and fry the mustard, urad dhal and red chilly
  5. Add the rice, green gram, water, salt sugar and coconut and pressure cook with the whistle on. switch off after 2 whistles
  6. Serve hot with tomato or mint chutney
