Pack in the iron and calcium in your meals with the healthful greens in hari subzi. The spinach and other greens get cooked together in this quick hari subzi (green veg) dish and can be served with cream as topping.
Hari Subzi recipe - How to make Hari Subzi

300 gms french beans, stringed and chopped into 1" pieces
1 potato, cut into cubes
3 to 4 green chillies
1 onion, finely sliced
4 to 6 flakes of garlic (lehsun)
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1 tbsp grated coconut
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Method
- Grind cocnut paste, green chillies, coriander powder & garlic flakes with some salt to a coarse paste.
- Heat oil in a pan & fry the sliced onion until golden brown. now add the masala & fry for a couple of minutes. then add the chopped beans & potato & fry these veggies with the masala until it gives out a crispy aroma.
- Sprinkle some water & let it cook on a low flame until the beans & potatoes are done.
- Serve hot with roti.
