Hot Sauce (Party Cooking) recipe - How to make Hot Sauce (Party Cooking)

Makes 2 teacups (approx.).
3 large tomatoes
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic (lehsun), crushed
a pinch of carom seeds (ajwain) or 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp sugar
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste

- Method
- Put the tomatoes into hot water for 10 minutes. Remove the skin and chop.
- Heat the oil and fry the onion for 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic and fry again for a few seconds. Add the tomatoes and fry for a few minutes.
- Add the ajwain, chilli powder, sugar and salt and boil for a few minutes.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a little water.
