Makes 8 to 10 servings
1/2 cup bajra (black millet) daliya
2 liter buttermilk
5 cardamoms , powdered
sugar as per taste
1/2 cup mixed chopped nuts
8 to 10 saffron (kesar) strands , soaked in 2 tsp water)
Method
- Method
- Add the buttermilk in a deep pan and bring it to boil, whgile stirring continuously.
- Add the bajra daliya and cook on a medium flame for 20 minutes.
- Add the sugar, cardamom powder,nuts and kesar(saffron).
- Cook it for more 5 to 6 minutes.
- Serve hot or chilled.
