It is winter season and here is very very nutritious but healthy nutty bar which can be taken as breakfast also, this nutty bar is very ideal for those Who does not get enough time in today’s day to day busy schedule life to have breakfast and can take a big piece of this bar to skip the breakfast, even children can have this as breakfast.

Ingredients

400 gms condensed milk
2 tbsp butter
3-4 chopped anjeer
5 to 6 deseeded and chopped dates
1/2 cup crushed roasted chana dal (daria)
1/2 cup roasted and crushed peanut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)
1/2 cup roasted quick cooking rolled oats
3 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
2 tbsp melon seeds (charmagaz)
1 cup dry coconut (kopra) powder
for greasing
1 tsp ghee
for garnishing
2 tsp poppy seeds (khus-khus)
2 tsp flex seeds

Method
    Method
  1. In a pan combine condensed milk and butter, mix well.
  2. Add anjeer, dates, roasted chana dal(Daria),peanut, walnut, oats, sesame seeds,melon seeds,dry coconut powder and mix well.
  3. Switch on the gas and cook this mixture on medium flame stiring continusly for 7-8 minutes or it becomes little thick.
  4. Grease the plate with ghee,transer this mixture to greased plate, spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle poppy seeds and flex seeds, press lightly with the help of stapula.
  6. Cool to room temperature.
  7. Cut and serve

  1. This bar can be stored in freez for 10-12 days.
  2. If you want to store for long time, avoid adding coconut powder, in this case you can add equal quantity of any other nuts like almond or cashews.
  3. In place of oats you can add poha or unsalted popcorn, but the nutritious value will go down in this case.
