Makes 8 to 10 pockets
For The Stuffing
1 cup chopped paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tbsp crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup capsicum cubes
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
2 grated cheese cubes
3 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
1 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tsp cornflour , mixed with water
2 tbsp bread crumbs
oil for deep frying
salt to taste
For The Pockets
200 gms plain flour (maida)
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp baking powder
salt to taste
To Be Mixed Together For The Dip
1 tsp schezuan sauce
2 tsp mayonnaise
1 tsp tomato ketchup
Method
- Method
- Combine the paneer, corn, capsicum in a bowl and mix well.
- Add the chilli flakes, oregano, pepper and salt in that bowl and mix well.
- Add the tomato sauce and grated cheese into bowl ,mix all the ingredient's well.
- Now take the dough and make 4 to 5 boll with all dough.
- Roll it like a big chapati and with the help of knife give it a square shape and again cut into 6 peace.
- Now take 1 piece and put the stuffing in that and with help of water fold it well.
- Make all the pockets like this.
- Dip that pockets into cornflour paste nd than dust some breadcrumbs on pockets.
- Heat oil into a frying pan and deep fry that pockets atlist 8 to 10 min's on medium flame.
- Serve hot with the dip.
