Cooking Time: Total Time:
2 tbsp rice (chawal)
1/2 tbsp toovar (arhar) dal
1/2 tbsp moong dal (split green gram)
1 " piece carrot
2 french beans
1 small sized potato, cut into small sized cubes
few fenugreek (methi) leaves
1/2 pinch cumin seeds (jeera)
2 peppercorns (kalimirch)
salt to taste
1/4 tsp ghee
Method
- Dry roast[fry] split moong dhal until light brown colour.
- Wash rice,tuvar dhal,split moong dhal,carrots,beans,potato,methi.
- In a pressure cooker,put all the washed ingredients,jeera,pepper and cook upto 3 whistles.
- After the cooker cools, remove the peppercorns and mash it[u can also grind it in a food processor.
- To the mashed food,add salt and ghee.
- Serve warm.
