Pista lassi is a nice variation to the popular and traditional yogurt-based drink (sweet or salted) which originated in the punjab region of the indian subcontinent. It is made by blending yoghurt with crushed pistachio paste and sugar to prepare a sweet creamy lip smacking green colored pista lassi.

Makes 1 serving
2 cups fresh curds (dahi)
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cardamoms
2 to 3 pistachios
2 drops of pistachio essence
1/2 cup crushed ice
1 tsp hot milk
Method
- Method
- Blend the pistachios in a mixer to a coarse powder. Keep aside/
- Combine the sugar and curds and mix well.
- Just before serving, combine all ingredients and blend using a hand blender till smooth.
- Serve well chilled.
