For Potato Bites
2 1/2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions whites and greens
2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
salt and to taste
1/4 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
2 tbsp cornflour
oil for deep-frying

- To make {span class="bold1"}potato bites{/span}, in a deep bowl, add all the ingredients and mix very well.
- Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions.
- Roll a portion using your hands to form a long cylindrical shape roll
- Cut into 10 to 12 equal portions.
- Roll each portion into an small oval shape and using a chopstick make a design as shown.
- Repeat steps 3 to 5 to shape more potato crispies.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan, deep-fry a few pieces at a time till they turn golden brown in colour form all the sides.
- Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve the {span class="bold1"}potato bites{/span} immediately with sweet chilli sauce.
