Quick Tomato Raitha recipe - How to make Quick Tomato Raitha
Preparation Time: Cooking Time: Total Time:
2 ripe tomatoes
1 cup fresh curds (dahi)
finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp grated coconut (optional)
salt to taste
for seasoning:
1 tsp oil
1 green chilli
a pinch of mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1/2 tsp urad dal (split black lentils)
1/2 tsp chana dal (split Bengal gram)
Method
- Cook tomatoes in hot water, remove, peel and mash;
- Heat oil and prepare seasoning;
- Add to the tomatoes curds, salt,coriander leaves,coconut and seasoning;
- Mix and serve with rice or rotis.
