A spicy and hot chutne made with lots and lots of red chillies, tomatoes and tamarind.

1 cup coconut
2 green chillies
2 red chillies
2 tomatoes
little tamarind (imli)
1 tsp roasted chana dal (daria)
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
salt to taste
Method
- Grind all the ingredients.
- Season with mustard seeds and urad dhal.
