Potatoes and boiled rice mixed with some condiments to make mouth watering pakodas and served with a simple sesame dip.

Makes 4 serving
1 cup boiled rice
4 boiled and grated potatoes
2 chopped onions
2 tbsp besan (bengal gram flour)
1 tsp curds (dahi)
2 green chillies
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
salt to taste
1 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
oil to deep fry
For The Sesame Dip
2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds (til)
2-3 green chilli
1 tomato
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
few curry leaves (kadi patta)

For the Sesame dip-

- Method
- Mix together all the ingredients except oil. Knead into a dough. Make equal sized balls out of it.
- Heat oil and deep fry the balls to a golden brown colour. Drain and serve with sesame seeds dip.
For the Sesame dip-
- For the Sesame dip-
- Grind the sesame seeds, green chillies and tomato with a little water to make a semi solid dip.
- Heat oil and temper with the mustard seeds and curry leaves. After it stops spluttering, pour this seasoning to the dip and mix well.
