Sprouts are loaded with protein, fiber and B complex vitamins. Add sprouts in your diet in the form of salads, pancakes or cutlets.
Sprouts recipe - How to make Sprouts
Preparation Time: Cooking Time: none Total Time:
250 gms sprouted moong (whole green gram)
a hadful of peanuts
a handful of grated fresh coconut
1/2 cup onion cubes
1/2 cup tomatoes, sliced
1/2 cup grated fresh carrot
finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp lemon juice
Seasoning:
mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
green chillies
salt as required (optional)
1 tsp oil (any kind)
Method
- Mix all the ingredients except the lemon/lime together in a salad bowl.
- For the seasoning, heat 1 teaspoon oil in a separate utensil.
- Add mustard seeds. after they splutter, add the green chillies.
- Throw the garnish on top of the other ingrdients.
- Squeeze the lemon/lime. mix and serve.
