A lovely variation to the typical spicy mint chutneys, this sweet mint chutney has mint leaves chopped and then blended with sugar, tamarind and red chillies.

1 cup mint leaves (phudina)
2 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
1/4 tsp salt
tamarind (imli) - little - a big as a lime
sugar to taste
Method
- Wash the mint leaves & place in mixie jar add the dry chillies and little tamarind extract & grind to a smooth paste,
- Remove from jar, place in a bowl,
- Add sugar & salt - mix well & serve. goes well with samosa''''s or vegetable stew.
