This popular marinade has always been a mystery to most of us who enjoy its piquant blend of spices. Cauliflower and broccoli are smothered in this delectable marinade and grilled. If you like, you can also use paneer instead.

Makes 4 servings
1 cup parboiled cauliflower florets
1 cup parboiled broccoli florets
To Be Mixed Into A Marinade
1/2 cup thick curds (dahi)
1 tsp besan (bengal gram flour)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
2 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1/2 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
2 tsp chaat masala
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp mustard (rai / sarson) oil or
salt to taste
For Serving
onion rings
mint leaves (phudina) (phudina)
Method
- Main procedure
- Marinate the cauliflower and broccoli florets in the prepared marinade for about 1 hour.
- Thread them on to skewers.
- Grill the marinated cauliflower and broccoli florets over a charcoal or electric barbeque till the cauliflower is tender (approx. 15 to 20 minutes).
- Serve hot on a bed of onion rings and mint leaves.

i tried this recipe with whole gobi instead of floret as per instruction of TD team. and believe me it came out perfect and of course delicious.
