My mother in law made this delicious chutney which goes well to be eaten with dosas and idly.
Tasty Coconut Chutney recipe - How to make Tasty Coconut Chutney

Makes 10 to 12 servings
3-4 whole dry kashmiri red chilli
1 cup grated coconut
6 green chillies
15 curry leaves (kadi patta)
2 tbsp chana dal (split bengal gram)
2 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil

- Method
- Stir fry all the above ingredients in a hot pan in oil.
- Cool down for 10 mins.
- Add some water and grind it a smooth paste.
- Mix some curd to add more taste.
