Tender jowar Chaat, is a very simple, yet delicious recipe and can be prepared in minutes. Tender jowar is available in India during winter season. Some people also call it hurda or ponk.

Tender Jowar Chaat recipe - How to make Tender Jowar Chaat

Ingredients

1 cup ponkh
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp chaat masala
salt to taste

For The Garnish
3 tbsp sev

Method
    Method
  1. Steam the ponkh (tender jowar) for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from a flame and put it in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the green chillies, coriander, chaat masala, salt and lemon juice, mix well.
  3. Serve immediately and garnish with sev.

Note:

    Note:
  1. Do not overcook jowar. Jowar can be used without steaming also for this chaat
