This is a very healthy chutney containing tomatoes rich with lycopene. Helps to keep the heart healthy.

6 riped tomatoes
2 green chillies
salt to taste
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1/4 tsp fenugreek (methi) seeds
little asafoetida (hing) for flavour
4 to 5 whole dry kashmiri red chillies and 2 teaspoons of oil
Method
- Chop the tomatoes into big pieces.
- Slit the green chillies.
- Fry mustard methi red chilles and hing with very little oil, powder them in a small mixi jar.
- Put oil in a pan when heated add the tomatoes and green chillies and go on sauting till it gets thick consistency.
- Add the dry ingridents salt and little corrienda leaves and grind them into chutney consistency.
