4 cups of Basmati Rice;
3-4 Tbspns of Butter;
6 cups of water;
20 Ripe Big Tomatoes-(steam tomatoes, peel off skins - mash well & keep aside);
12-15 Green Chillies - slit in two;
4 Big Onions - finely sliced;
18-20 Mint Leaves;
A sprig of Curry leaves;
¾ Big Bundle of Corriander leaves - finely chopped - keep 3 tbpsn for garnishing;
2 Tbspns Ginger/Garlic Paste;
¼ - ½ Cup Oil;
Salt to taste;
Turmeric Powder -1 level tspn;
Lime Juice - 3-4 Tbspns.
Method
- Wash, drain rice well,
- Fry in butter on low flame for 8-10 mins till rice is crisp -
- Put in electric cooker bucket & keep.
